How I got here.

I’m a passionate advocate for clean eating, healthy living, and self-care.

My entrance into the world of wellness began unexpectedly, sparked by a childhood passion for nutrition and ignited by a health crisis that turned my world upside down.

Back in my mid-20s, I started experiencing severe fatigue that made even a simple stroll down the street feel like climbing Mount Everest.

None of the doctors I went to had any answers. I kept hearing the same dreaded message “I don’t know what’s wrong with you,” which left me feeling lost and powerless.

The ironic part is that when I was younger, I took a nutrition class which I loved. I showed up early and sat in the front row. Little did I know that years later that knowledge would come in very handy.

Feeling lost and looking for answers, I decided to seek alternative methods. My dad heard an alternative doctor on a radio show who was helping people get well and suggested I check him out. I figured, why not give it a shot? I had nothing to lose except for the debilitating fatigue that had taken over my life.

Off I went, hopeful and slightly terrified. Turns out, mainstream medicine couldn’t pinpoint my imbalances and toxicities, but this alternative doctor did. I was immediately thrown way out of my comfort zone. I was doing cleanses and detoxes which gave me migraines for days. But I was determined to do whatever it took to feel better.

My health began to improve. And with that, I became more and more fascinated with the incredible impact of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. In fact, a follow-up visit with my doctor solidified my passion. He marveled at my unwavering positivity despite feeling really crappy. It reminded me of that nutrition class I loved so much and sparked a fire within me. I knew right then and there that I wanted to dedicate my life to this field.

So, I went back to school and got my Master’s in Nutrition. I also trained in Reiki and Bioenergetic Medicine. But in the beginning, I struggled. I had a major sweet tooth inherited from my dad, and giving up indulgences felt like deprivation. That’s when I made it my mission to find healthy baking alternatives. I mean, who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too, right? Treating myself kindly and finding sustainable ways to make healthier choices became my focus.

My qualifications extend beyond academic creditentials; they’re rooted in lived experience and a genuine desire to make a difference. I understand firsthand the overwhelm and frustration that often accompanies the pursuit of wellness, which is why I’m passionate about breaking it down into practical, actionable steps. My goal is to empower you to take charge of your health with confidence and ease. 

Looking back, as tough as it was, I’m grateful for what I went through. It taught me the importance of self-care from a young age. My mission is to show you that healthy eating and self-care doesn’t have to be overwhelming or involve obsessive calorie counting. In fact, it can be enjoyable! And once you start experiencing the benefits like increased energy, better sleep, clearer skin, and weight loss, you’ll transform into a dedicated lifer like me!
